13 ambassadors meet in Wuhan to seek cooperation | 13国驻华大使齐聚武汉谈合作

On the morning of April 28, the Hubei Sub-Council of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade organized a promotion event in Wuhan for Hubei and Latin American and Caribbean countries. A total of 34 diplomats including 13 ambassadors from 21 countries attended the event. This was the first delegation of diplomatic missions in China Hubei has received since the epidemic.

At present, there are 16 Chinese enterprises carrying out trade business in Jamaica. There is also broad space for cooperation between China and Jamaica in the fields of renewable energy and carbon emission reduction. Jamaica welcomes Hubei and Wuhan enterprises to conduct cooperation in Jamaica.

This is my first time in Wuhan. The people here are very friendly. Last night we went to the Yangtze River and went on a cruise. It was very beautiful with the light show on the buildings. So if people come here I would advise them to take advantage of one of the boat cruises.

Wuhan is very beautiful and modern. The city saved its people from the pandemic. It is an example for the world. This is my third time to Wuhan. I tried hot-and-dry noodles for the first time two days ago, and every day since, I have asked for it for every meal because I just love it.

My country is looking for participation in cooperation concerning the construction area, housing, agriculture, and airlines with Wuhan. In the very near future, hopefully later this year and early next year, I intend to organize a seminar so that a delegation at a very high level from my country can travel to Wuhan to see how we can collaborate in different areas.

I enjoyed the Jiqing Street tour and that on the Yangtze River to see the illuminated city. The key word for the travel in Wuhan is "fantastic."

In June this year, we will arrange a big event inviting 45 vineyards from Chile to present our wine to Wuhan people. Later in October, when we market our cherry produce, we will organize another event to promote our fresh fruit here.

我们计划6月组织45家葡萄酒生产商来武汉，专门举办一次大型智利红酒品鉴会。10月是智利车厘子上市的季节，届时我们再来武汉举办一次智利水果推介活动。

One of our biggest expectations is to try to find the right province back in Columbia to become the sister province with Hubei. It is in progress, and I hope that during the rest of the year we will be able to find the right province and to start connecting them.

I also expect to have more products from Columbia like coffee, bananas, avocados, and beef to be sold in Hubei. We also expect Hubei companies to make more investments in Columbia.
