Scan Alipay or WeChat to take metro | 坐地铁可以直接刷支付宝微信了

Starting from May 30, locals are able to pass through Wuhan Metro ticket gates by scanning QR codes on Alipay, WeChat, or UnionPay.

5月30日起，武汉市民乘坐地铁可以刷支付宝、微信、云闪付APP二维码过闸。

Our reporters experienced the new method with Alipay. The registration process took only less than three seconds followed by another one second to scan the code and open the gate. To exit the gate was as easy and quick.

记者采用支付宝体验，3秒内便可完成注册，1秒扫码成功闸机扇门打开。出站也同样顺畅。

However, if you use the above methods to take the metro, you will not enjoy a 10% discount that Wuhan Tong is offering, but these third-party platforms Alipay, WeChat and UnionPay will provide discounts from time to time. If you are a daily commuter, it is recommended that you open a Wuhan Tong account on your mobile phone and enjoy the 10% discount.

以上扫码方式不享受一卡通的优惠，但第三方平台会适时给出乘车优惠。如果是长期通勤的乘客，建议开通手机武汉通乘车，享受9折扣值优惠。
