Wuhan ranks among most popular cities during Dragon Boat Festival | 武汉名列端午十大热门旅游城市

Wuhan was among the top 10 cities for touring during the Dragon Boat Festival this year, according to Ctrip.

During the festival, long queue lines formed in front of Liangdao Street's famous food store which offers shaomai wrapped in fried pancake. Tourists visiting Wuhan were waiting in line there as early as 8 a.m. while still carrying their luggage. At the Sanzhen Minsheng Sweet Food House, nearly every tourist was seen with a bowl of hot-and-dry noodles, a dish of doupi and a cup of mijiu (a Chinese rice wine). At the iconic food street, Wansongyuan, where people flocked to at night to eat crawfish, the voices of restaurant staffers calling customer numbers were heard all around.

端午节期间，粮道街的油饼包烧麦排长队，早上8时就有外地游客拖着行李箱来打卡；三镇民生甜食馆里，外地游客人手一份热干面豆皮糊米酒。在最著名的美食街万松园品尝小龙虾宵夜，取号声此起彼伏。

More young tourists chose to visit local landmarks which are popular online. In front of Wuhan Art Museum's wall, university students from Beijing, Hangzhou and Ningbo came in flocks to take photos with the wall before sharing them online. There were also young tourists busily taking photos along Lihuangpi Road, in front of the Pinghe Packaging Factory, beside the "lonely tree" at the Qingshan Riverside Park, on the Yangsigang Yangtze River Bridge, and on the Gutian Bridge.

更多的年轻游客则在汉打卡“网红地标”。在武汉美术馆侧墙旁，来自北京、杭州、宁波的年轻大学生一拨接一拨，前往打卡拍照，并上传至网络。黎黄陂路、平和打包厂、青山江滩一棵树以及杨泗港大桥、古田桥，都可见前往打卡拍照的年轻游客。

As the temperature continued to rise, "waterfront areas in the day + performances in the night" became the trending form that differed it from activities during other holidays. Sun Yufeng, a visitor from Henan, reviewed her trip in the city. She said that during the day she took a boat on East Lake, visited the East Lake Greenway, and had fun with water at Wuhan Maya Beach Water Park; in the night she took cruises along the Yangtze River, tried on qipao at the Zhiyin cruise, watched performances, enjoyed the light show along the river, tasted delicious food at Jiqing Street and sang with street folk artists. "I felt really relaxed and happy."

随着气温走高，“白天玩水，夜间看戏”成为端午节小长假区别于上半年其他假期最明显特征。河南游客”孙玉凤细数小长假行程中的“亲水夜游之旅”：白天在东湖坐船、逛东湖绿道、去武汉玛雅海滩水公园玩水，晚上登两江游轮、穿着旗袍在知音号赏灯光秀看大戏，在吉庆街品美食、与街头艺人互动歌唱，“很放松很开心”。
