Popular flyover in Wuhan gets a name | 武汉这座火遍全国的天桥有名字了！

When the Wuhan Civil Affairs Bureau recently announced the official names of some roads in the city, they included the name of a flyover, calling it Tongji Health Flyover. According to the bureau, "The flyover is named in memory of the national aid given to Hubei and the outstanding contribution of Tongji Hospital in the anti-epidemic fight."

近日，武汉市民政局公布了全市部分道路标准地名，其中就有一座火遍全国的天桥——“同济健康天桥”。市民政局在公告中称，“为铭记全国援鄂抗疫历史，及同济医院在抗疫中突出贡献，故名”。

This flyover is located in front of Tongji Hospital in Qiaokou District, spanning over Jiefang Avenue. It went viral on the Internet at the end of last year, attracting many citizens to take pictures there.

此天桥位于硚口区同济医院门前，跨越解放大道。去年底，这座天桥突然火了，不少市民特意前来打卡、拍照......

The glass sections of the flyover’s guard barriers were printed on with the names of the medical teams providing aid to Hubei. Included for each team was the number of their medical workers, the city that they aided, and the map of the province or city that they came from. The flyover design is a way to express Hubei’s appreciation for the support and help from the rest of the country.

原来，过街天桥的护栏玻璃上印满了疫情期间全国援鄂医疗队的名称、医疗队人数、支援过的城市，并配有一幅各个省市的地图。此举是为了感谢全国人民对武汉、对湖北的支援。

Some citizens specially wrote a thank-you note to express their gratitude. Many netizens were deeply touched by the news and described the flyover as a bridge of gratitude.

有市民专门写上“感谢你们”的红色字卡，表达感激之情。不少网友留言：这是一座感恩桥。
