Curtain to rise for Three Gorges Int'l Tourism Festival | 长江三峡国际旅游节10月宜昌开幕

The 12th Yangtze River Three Gorges International Tourism Festival will be held in Yichang from Oct. 14 to 21, highlighting the charm of the regions along the Yangtze River.

第十二届中国长江三峡国际旅游节将于10月14日至21日在宜昌举行，展现长江三峡沿线地区风采。

During the festival, Yichang will put on more than 30 events in seven categories. This will include the opening ceremony, cultural performances of music, poetry and painting, a piano concert, and economic and trade activities. As the highlight of the festival, the piano concert will be led by piano masters and staged on the Three Gorges Dam. There will be a 100-piano ensemble accompanied by a large-scale symphony, a thousand-person chorus, and famous singers.

旅游节期间，宜昌市将陆续推出开幕式、大型音诗画文化惠民演出、钢琴音乐会、经贸招商活动等七大类30多项活动。其中，三峡大坝钢琴音乐会将以三峡大坝坝顶为舞台，以钢琴名家领奏、百台钢琴合奏、大型交响乐伴奏，知名音乐人演唱、千人合唱的形式来展现。
