WHU students selected into 'Genius Youth' program | 武大博士入选华为“天才少年”

Two Gen-Z doctoral students from Wuhan University were accepted into Huawei's "Genius Youth" program, marking the first time that WHU students have been selected. Huawei has recruited less than 20 "genius youths" in the past three years.

武汉大学两名90后博士生同批入选华为“天才少年”计划，这是武汉大学首次有学生入选。据悉，三年来华为招募的“天才少年”不足20人。

Jiang Kui, 27, was admitted to WHU as a postgraduate student. His research focuses on applying artificial intelligence to video and image processing. Another "genius youth," Zhou Man, majors in Information Security at the School of Cyber Science and Engineering. During his undergraduate studies, Zhou became the first student in WHU to produce a paper for the ACM MobiCom 2016, a top international conference on wireless networks.

27岁的江奎，硕士研究生阶段考入武汉大学，研究方向是将人工智能运用于视频和图像处理。另一名“天才少年”是来自武汉大学国家网络安全学院信息安全专业的周满。本科阶段，周满首次在国际无线网络顶级会议ACM MobiCom 2016发表论文，刷新了武汉大学在该顶级会议零的记录。

Huawei's "Genius Youth" program is a project created by the Huawei founder Ren Zhengfei to attract top talents with top challenges and top salaries.

“天才少年”计划由华为创始人任正非发起，旨在吸引顶尖人才。
