City's express delivery volume exceeds 1 billion in Jan-Aug | 武汉前8个月快递量超10亿件

In the first eight months of this year, Wuhan's express delivery volume exceeded 1 billion parcels, with a year-on-year increase of more than 70 percent.

今年前8个月，武汉快递业务量超10亿件，同比增长超7成，增速继续领跑全国。

According to a person from the Wuhan Express Industry Association, the rapid growth is not only because local e-commerce was on an upward trend, but also because this summer saw bumper harvests of fresh produce, resulting in a robust demand for the delivery of agricultural products.

武汉市快递行业协会相关负责人分析，我市快递之所以保持高速增长，一方面是，8月份夏季生鲜喜迎丰收，农产品寄递需求旺盛；另一方面，武汉电商持续发力，线上寄递需求强劲。
