Flash mobs took place on Oct. 23 at Wuhan's six major landmarks, including the Hankou Railway Station, the Optics Valley Square, and the Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street. Performers dressed up as "Yuanxiaoju," the mascot of the 38th Wuhan Golden Autumn Chrysanthemum Exhibition, danced to music and invited citizens to come and appreciate the upcoming exhibition.
10月23日，汉口火车站、光谷广场、江汉路步行街等武汉六大武汉地标建筑前，先后上演“咏菊”快闪活动，第38届武汉金秋菊展在吉祥物“园小菊”人偶的舞蹈中，向市民正式发出观赏邀请。

This annual event, involving 139 organizations as exhibitors, will be held from Oct. 28 to Nov. 30. Its two major display areas will take place at Hankou Riverside Park and Shahu Park, and other display areas will be scattered in 15 urban districts around the city. The exhibition will showcase 303 chrysanthemum arrangements and nearly 1.6 million pots of 2,000 varieties of chrysanthemums along with 600,000 pots of other seasonal flowers.
武汉金秋菊展一年一度。将于10月28日至11月30日开展的武汉第38届金秋菊展，设汉口江滩、沙湖公园两个主展区，展览地点覆盖全市15个城区，共有139家单位参展。本届菊展将布置303组菊花小景，展出菊花近2000种160万盆、各类时令花卉60万盆。

Top chrysanthemum masters will serve as judges who will select the best chrysanthemums in professional and amateur competitions. Training and lectures on how to grow chrysanthemums will be held on campuses and in residential communities where citizens will have the opportunity to get free chrysanthemum plants.
菊展期间，主办方还将邀请国内顶尖菊艺大师作为评委，助力专业组和业余组的“斗菊大赛”，并通过进校园、进社区、等活动，深入普及菊花培育知识，免费给市民赠送菊花。
