Ramsar COP 14 to be held in November next year in Wuhan |《湿地公约》缔约方大会将于明年11月在武汉举办

The meeting of the Conference of the Contracting Parties (COP 14) to the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands will be held in November next year in Wuhan. With a focus on cherishing wetlands and achieving harmonious coexistence between humans and nature, it will be the first time for China to host this international event.

《湿地公约》第十四届缔约方大会将于明年11月在湖北武汉举办。这将是我国将首次承办《湿地公约》缔约方大会，此次会议主题为“珍爱湿地，人与自然和谐共生”。

During the meeting, a series of important issues, including the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda and the development strategies of the convention, will be reviewed and discussed.

会上，将落实《联合国2030年可持续发展议程》，审议公约发展战略等重大事项。

In recently years, Wuhan has taken proactive actions in areas such as wetland protection, landscaping of gardens and parks, aquatic ecological restoration, bird monitoring, and education on bird protection. A paradise for birds has been created in this city of lakes, where men and nature coexist harmoniously.

近年来，武汉严格湿地保护、推进园林绿化，并进行水生态修复、鸟类监测、护鸟爱鸟教育等工作，在百湖之城建起百鸟乐园，实现人与自然和谐共生。
