The Yunhu Parkin the East Lake Hightech Development Zonewas considered mostoutstanding because of itscreative theme, profusionof materials, harmoniousintegration with itssurroundings, and stronginteractive popularization ofscience.

11月18日，全市园林小景评选结果出炉！东湖新技术开发区韵湖公园的园林小景，由于有新意、元素丰富、和周边小环境结合很好、互动科普性较强等优势，脱颖而出。

Microlandscapes areexquisite artificiallandscapes that arecharacterized by plants,and materials likelandscape stones. Prior toNational Day this year, thecity built a hundredmicrolandscapes, and onNov. 3, the WuhanMunicipal Bureau ofGardening and Forestrylaunched citywideevaluations of them.

园林小景是使用植物、景石等园林元素构建的精致人造景观。今年国庆节到来之前，全市共打造了100组园林小景。11月3日起，市园林和林业局组织开展全市园林小景布置专项考评。

According to the director of the Yunhu ParkAdministrative Office, theirmicrolandscape is a miniwetland that was originallya depression in front of aknoll. The core area isabout 100 square meters.The main feature is anopen wetland pond that is3.5 meters in diameter atthe center with a collectionof white flowers. Afterdark, five sets ofholographic projectorsdisplay various luminouscharacters and patterns.The flower pool is fringedby over 20 species ofaquatic plants growing inshallow water, such astropical water lilies, cannas,Thalia dealbatas, irises, andeven some paddies. Besidethe pool is a rail fencebehind which are plenty ofshrubs and flowers.

韵湖公园管理处负责人介绍，此处园林小景的背面是一个小山坡，以前这里是一块洼地，所以将其设计成了一个小微湿地。 该小景的核心部分约100平方米。主景是右侧开放式的湿地水池，水池中心有一个直径3.5米的白色花池，设置了5组全息投影灯，可在夜间展现各种发光的文字或图案。花池周边是一圈浅水，种植着20多种水生植物，包括形色各异的热带睡莲、美人蕉、再力花、鸢尾等，甚至还有几株水稻。主景左侧的栅栏内是配景，各种灌木、花卉错落栽植。
