First snow of the winter likely to arrive on Friday night | 周五或迎今年第一场雪

According to the weather forecast, a cold wave is expected to arrive in Wuhan this evening with up to a category 7 northerly, causing a significant temperature drop, and the first snow of the season is expected to come on tomorrow night.

天气预报显示，预计今晚起，武汉市有一次寒潮天气发生，带来最高7级的北风，降温明显，预计周五晚间迎来今年首场降雪。

The dates of the city's first winter snow over the past five years are Dec. 13, 2020; Dec. 18, 2019; Dec. 7, 2018; Jan. 4, 2017; and Feb. 8, 2016.

最近五年里，武汉的初雪日分别为2020年12月13日、2019年12月18日、2018年12月7日、2017年1月4日、2016年2月8日。
