Celebrate Lantern Festival with traditional activities | 传统活动庆元宵

Exciting traditional activities such as lion dancing, juggling, flower viewing, and lantern-making are awaiting you at the Lantern Festival which is just around the corner. Keep this schedule and decide what you would like to do during the festival.

元宵节将至，公园里猜灯谜、看舞狮杂耍、赏春花、做花灯。各种活动精彩纷呈，快来看看元宵节文化活动菜单，提前安排好元宵节行程吧。

Visitors can guess lantern riddles on the western square of the Yellow Crane Tower, and then go to Lingcuixuan（凝翠轩）to verify their answers. Gifts are presented to whomever gets the right answers.

黄鹤楼公园西区广场，春节期间一直设有灯谜，猜对的游客可前往凝翠轩核对答案后，可领取相应礼品。

The Wuhan Botanical Garden of Chinese Academy of Science is also holding riddle guessing games daily between 9:00 and 11:00 and 13:30 and 15:30 from Feb. 13 to 15. Visitors solving at least three riddles will receive a beautiful postcard or a tiger-themed mask. The number of gifts available is limited.

13日起至15日9:00—11:00，13:30—15:30，中科院武汉植物园组织参与猜灯谜活动，游客猜中3个即可领取精美明信片或虎年口罩1个，奖品领完为止。

There will be tiger-themed lantern making activities for children starting at 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 15 at the service center near the west gate of the Tortoise Hill Park.

15日9:30，龟山公园将在西门游客服务中心带领小朋友们制作虎年灯笼。

A lantern-making activity will take place at the Afforestation Square of Xibeihu Park at 10:00 a.m. on Feb. 15.

15日10:00，西北湖绿化广场均有制作精美花灯的活动。

Riddle guessing and lantern-making events will commence at Ziyang Park starting at 14:30 on Feb. 15.

15日14:30，紫阳公园将在共享空间开展“正月十五花灯俏——闹元宵、猜灯谜、虎年灯笼制作”活动。

Many traditional festival events such as lantern displays, dragon and lion dances, the release of Kongming lanterns, and a parade with floats will be put on at Wuhan Happy Valley on Feb. 26.

26日晚，武汉欢乐谷举办元宵节活动，融入赏花灯、舞龙狮、孔明灯许愿、新春花车巡游等充满传统佳节风味活动。
