First smart car wash station powered by a photovoltaic system and using reclaimed water | 全国首座光伏+中水智能洗车站

On March 22, Mr. Li, a local resident, experienced car wash using reclaimed water for the first time near the Erlangmiao Sewage Treatment Plant. Funded by the Wuhan Water Group, it is China's first smart car wash station powered by a photovoltaic system and using reclaimed water.

3月22日，市民李先生在二郎庙污水处理厂附近的洗车店体验了一次中水洗车，这座全国首座光伏+中水智能洗车站由武水集团武汉控股公司投资建设。

"This station is built based on the 'green and low-carbon' concept," said Zhou Xuhui, head of Wuhan Holdings Green Industry Branch. He said that the photovoltaic power generation system is on the rooftop, and the reclaimed water is produced by the nearby sewage treatment plant. The wastewater after car washing can flow back to the front pool of the plant and is recycled again for washing vehicles after filtering, disinfection and other treatments. It takes about 15 minutes to clean a car, and each car consumes about 80 liters of water and 0.55 kWh.

“这座洗车站是依托‘绿色低碳’理念打造的。”武汉控股绿色产业分公司负责人周旭辉介绍，洗车设备动力来源是屋顶光伏发电系统，洗车用水则是二郎庙污水处理厂生产的中水。冲洗后的废水回流至污水厂前池，经过滤、消毒等处理环节后又可以冲洗车辆，实现循环利用。每台车约15分钟清洗完毕，每次洗车耗水约80L、耗电量约0.55度。

Currently, the self-service car wash station is open to the public for free. Car owners can scan the 'Wuhan Water Group' WeChat QR code at the station and receive a free car wash coupon.

目前，该自助洗车站免费向市民开放，车主只需到现场扫‘武汉水务集团’微信二维码，即可免费领取洗车券。
